This Saturday (8th July) DWT will be proudly celebrating the 7th year of a community repair service that doesn't cost the earth in Worcester - Repair Cafe Worcester (RCW).
DWT have been involved with Transition Worcester and local councillors since the inception of RCW and srtill remain on the steering group.
The team of committed and talented volunteers have provided advice and repairs on sewing, electrical, woodworking, ceramics, and tool sharpening plus an excellent cafe service with exceptional home made bakes that brings in revenue to buy repair sundries and pay volunteer expenses.
Join the Mayor of Worcester and the team to celebrate this 7th anniversary on Saturday at Unity House Community Hub, Stanley Road, Worcester WR5 1BE
Doors open at 11am. Please do not arrive early as there is a volunteer briefing before the public are invited in.
Last orders for repair is 1.30pm.
