Fundraiser Volunteer

The fund raiser volunteer role is a new DWT role enabling you to get involved with our charitable trust in a creative way, by identifying funding streams and organising various fundraising events to bring in more support and funds to assist the work of the DWT Projects.

The role would include working with DWT staff and trustees with writing funding bids, contacting local businesses to create sponsorship packages, obtain donations and running crowd funding platforms to expand and inspire community support of DWT.

Please email for more information and to discuss the role

DWT Litter Schemes

Waste Stream Researcher

The waste stream researcher volunteer role is a new DWT role enabling you to get involved with our charitable trust in a creative way, by assisting the Volunteer and Community Coordinator to research waste stream avenues to enable the Volunteer Litter Warden Scheme (VLWS) to gain access to alternative waste streams, offer practical help re litter and recycling and to aid us to support local events by setting up specific waste streams for event litter disposal.

Currently all VLWS collected litter has to be disposed of in a black bag but there are various innovative waste stream companies in the UK to contact, gain advice from and log data to support a future funding bid.

This would suit someone that is imaginative and enthusiastic with good interpersonal and online communication skills, who enjoys organising and online work. It would be a great help if you were passionate about waste and a lover of data

Duckworth Worcestershire Trust

DWT has been involved in environmental and social projects throughout Worcestershire for almost a quarter of a century, with the aim of protecting and enhancing the natural and built environment for the benefit of Worcestershire citizens.

However, with urgent wider global issues like the current climate emergency and loss of habitats and their dependent biodiversity, we are keen to focus more energy on tackling these challenges, and to inspire, educate and motivate people to lead a more environmentally friendly life.

DWT is recruiting for Trustees to join the board. Can you help with our aims to support the Worcestershire community?
