This summer the Pump House has a variety of crafts available in the cafe area of the Visitors centre. The crafts are designed to show case the materials available at WRE and inspiration and materials are provided. There is no booking necessary for the craft table but if busy you may have to wait your turn.
For the first 2 weeks of the holiday we are making ‘bendy beasts’ which can be used as paper puppets.
During the week prior to the Grand Reopening celebrations in Gheluvelt Park ( Saturday 14th August) we change the crafts to ‘Party Hats’ so we can celebrate in style and join in the carnival atmosphere that awaits us in the Park on the 14th.
