The Pump House Environment Centre is pleased to announce it has gained the Eco- Centre Award.
The award is designed to encourage and acknowledge whole-centre action for the environment. Eco-Centres follows the Eco-Schools model in offering a well-defined, controllable way for you to take environmental issues and apply them to the day-to-day running of your centre. This process is aimed to help staff and visitors of any age to recognise the importance of environmental issues and take them more seriously in their work and home lives. Eco-Centres are designed to make environmental awareness and action an intrinsic part of the life and ethos of a centre for all its staff and visitors.
